When connecting a HP 1120C printer the Mac dosent seem to find the printer port. It respond with 'Port already in use'

Hi welcome to Nowonder
Go into your Apple Talk Control panel and set it to remote only. Then go into the chooser and select printer and restart.
Make sure in the extensions that Desktop Print Monitor and spooler and QuickDraw GX are not checked.
