I am having trouble with my all-in-one priner, fax, copier, scanner, Hewlett Packard. It seems that when the software is installed on my Fujitsu notebook computer, and the printer is unattached, it performs terribly slow. It takes 5-10 time longer to perform any operations. When I reattach the printer cord, it goes back to regular speed, but the problem is that is a notebook computer, and it is rarely in the same spot for more than 10 minutes...
I would like you to help me solve this problem, so when I need to print something, I dont have to reinstall the software, and then disinstall it whn I need to take the computer away from the desk???? Please help me... thank you!

Hi Damon! When the notebook prints to the printer without any cables, it is using infra-red technology to send data to the printer. Infra-red is much slower than a regular parallel cable, so this speed difference is normal.
