DESCRIPTION:

I installed a new Cannon color cartridge, BCI-21. Since then the printer refuses to print....both in color and black. I've changed the color & black cartridges several times to eliminate the possibility of "defective" cartridges. I've also cleaned the nozzles, checked all connections, re-installed printer to computer, went through trouble-shooting manual step by step and I still cannot print. Printer acts as though it is printing....eg: type head moves and paper feeds through. HELP. Is it possible that I need to install/update a new printer driver? What I currently have, and re-installed earlier today, is ver. 3.60. Any help I can get with this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Bob Robertson

This problem happens on Canon printers when there is a connection problem with the socket that handles the ink. You know that little black socket in which you put the cartridges? Ask a retailer for a new one and it should work perfectly... This is normally the problem with printers acting like it prints but does not...
