TICKET ARCHIVE -> Printing HP 8250 with Macbookpro

I have a HP8250 printer and a new macbookpro, I 'm trying to print 4X6 pictures from iphoto 6 and keep getting stuck , with responses such as cannot print an image on paper size selected or it prints a 4x6 on full size paper, what gives, I'm ready for a new printer.

i have the exact same Printer as you do. in order to print from the 4x6 photo tray, you need to go to print, Click on the advance button, and in the "Copy & Pages" drop down menu, select "Paper Type/Quality".

in that screen change the source from "Main Tray" to "Photo Tray"

this should solve the issue if i understand you correctly

P.S. do you know the number for the HP paper? i've been lookin for it and can't find it
