Hi, I have just transferred a large number of names and addresses from MS Excel on my pc to 'numbers' on my mac. In Excel I can normally carry out a mail merge and then print out these names and addresses into Avery labels but I cant figure out how to do this on my mac. Can it be done in 'numbers'? Thanks Ross

[edit: Import a csv file into Address Book, then you can print out the labels right from that app:

A possible answer here using Address Book:

Here's one way to complete the task using an AppleScript Studio App (connects to Apple Address Book):

Or you can export a csv or excel file and use Office for the Mac and mail merge there.

OK I've now followed all the instructions laid out in the above threads....however after creating the .csv file and going through the import steps in Address book, when I click the 'OK' tab in TEXT FILE IMPORT pop up box nothing happens? I've tried everything I can think of but every time I press the OK tab it just doesn't do anything?

Make sure your csv corresponds with Address Book's fields.

Did you check Address Book to see if import was successful? Look for one of your csv entries...
