Description:
I am trying to print a Pagemaker 6.5 document on an Epson 800 Color inkjet printer. When I send it to print, it only prints a part of the page then starts spitting out blank pages. I've spoke to Epson about this, and they've indicated there might be an extention conflict with the computer & the printer. Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you for your time.

Try the following:

*Turn off Epson background printing.

*Update your Epson drivers to the latest version. This can be found at www.epson.com. If you do have the latest version, revert to a previous one.

*If you wish to test for an Extension conflict. Go into your Extensions Manager and select System Only plus Epson printer drivers. If it still doesn't work, put a space in front of each Epson extensions' name so they load first. This will prevent conflicts with other software.

*Obtain and install the Epson Postscript option. You can then choose either the Stylus RIP software or the Laserwriter 8 software in your Chooser. This will also give you the ability of printing imported EPS graphics from PageMaker.
