Knowledge Level: Intermediate
Problem: Combination
Computer Type: Apple
Model: PBG3Series 292/14.1
RAM: 65+
RAM Enhancer: None
OS Version: MacOS 8.5.1

Description:
I'm trying to print 2 SimpleText documents that came with my Adobe Photohsop 5.02 patch. One lists the undocumented features of the upgrade, the other lists thebug fixes.

The printer I'm using is an HP LaserJet 6MP Post Script (selected in the chooser and apparently fully operational since I have used it t0 print docs from other applications all day). It is connected via printer port via Farralon Local Talk adapter. Has 3MB RAM built in.

Background printing is turned off. No other applications are on.

900k alotted to SimpleText(v1.4)
1MB allocated to HP LaserJet utility 3.2

I'm getting the normal initial signs of print job processing: "Charcoal font is being downloaded to the printer." "Processing job". Then a Type 12 Error,
SimpleText quits, and a warning to quit all open applications (there are none) and
restart.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

You may need to zap the PRAM (rest Parameter RAM).
