Please tell me what printer, how you have it connected, what version OS X, what you have tried so far (in Printer Setup, for example).

the printer is connected to the network in our office so everybody does print using it, thru AppleTalk mainly, the MacBook Pro sees the printer when fetching using AppleTalk and I was able to add it but not to print from it. the printer is Elite 12/1200.. I did some research especially in Apple Discussion forums and it seems that it's a common problem with the Airport of the MacBook Pro but some are able to print and some are not.. for the moment I'm printing but using the ethernet port and not the Airport.. a million thanks, Waddah

I have two first thoughts:
Is the router an Airport Extreme/Express? Many(most) other brands don't allow appletalk to pass from wireless to wired segments of the network.
Did you remember to switch appletalk On for airport after switching from ethernet? only one network interface can have appletalk On at a time.

Well, Regarding AppleTalk I made sure to switch it on when switching from ethernet, and the routing issue you've mentioned is already proved to be working fine as almost everybody is printing wirelessly, we are like 30 employees more than 20 are printing wirelessly.. for me it's something related to the MacBook Pro because I'm the only one using it and the only who is facing problem in printing wirelessly.. Thanks

Is that printer a postscript one?
As a troubleshooting step, try adding it with the driver "Generic."
My other thought is that you may need to enable Printer Setup to use rosetta - but I don't have an Intel Mac, so I've never done that. If you'd like, I can send you back to the rest of the Techs to see if one of them has the answer. Please let me know.

Well, I thank you a million..
Th printer is postscript yes, maybe the rosetta issue will solve the problem..
I'll appreciate any help from your side and thank you one more time for your continuous support.. Waddah
