TICKET ARCHIVE -> problem with sherloc

Description:
I installed 8.5 about a week ago. No problems at first. But now my maclinkplus will not translate any picture. I keep getting a message that error 43 has occurred.
Also, sherlock can not search the internet. When it was first installed, all of the search sites were able to be used. Two days ago I tried to use the internet search on sherlock and none of the search sites appeared. I could not search. I checked the system to make sure those files had not been erased and they were still in their original place. So I don't know what to do.

Hi welcome to Nowonder
Boy this is a tough question been all over tech sites looking for answers to your questions. Sys 8.5 is just to new. Did find that if you are having trouble with Sherlock to go into the preference folder in the system folder and pull both Sherlock preference and the finder preference then restart. That was all I found on that.
For the error 43 means file missing. Can you reinstall the dataviz? Or there again pull preferences. Best regards sharona@nowonder
