At times, OUTLOOK will be listed in my system as "not responding." (As shown when I do a CTL+ALT+DEL to bring up the window.) I find that my system will HANG due to this error; consequently I END TASK on OUTLOOK so that I can proceed with my work.

Sometimes when I close OUTLOOK, there is a crash error window that comes up ... with two buttons to click: 1 = CLOSE, 2 = DETAILS.

It doesn't happen all the time, but more frequently than not. I would like suggestion on how to search for the cause of this matter, and then, fix it!

Hello James, and welcome to NoWOnder!!

From what you have sent for system specs, I would be confident in saying that Outlook is the problem. What you need to do is go to :

http://support.microsoft.com and find "updates". In here, you will find all sorts of Windows Updates, and Office Apps Updates and Patches. Look for an Outlook, or Office patch for your version of Office Apps, or Outlook. This should help immensly.
