TICKET ARCHIVE -> Prog Closes, Crashes

Running MS Outlook '98 ... 8.5.5104.6
Operating System: Windows 95
Windows version: 4.0
Processor: Pentium
Total physical memory: 65044 KB
Available physical memory: 2224 KB*
USER memory available: 48%
GDI memory available: 72%
Swap file size: 88064 KB
Swap file usage: 25%
Swap file setting: Dynamic
Available space on drive C: 1491264 KB
Available space on drive D: 100672 KB
Available space on drive E: 18042 KB
Available space on drive F: 18528 KB
Available space on drive G: 658768 KB
Windows directory: C:\WIN95
TEMP directory: C:\WIN95\TEMP
At times, OUTLOOK will be listed in my system as "not responding." (As shown when I do a CTL+ALT+DEL to bring up the window.) I find that my system will HANG due to this error; consequently I END TASK on OUTLOOK so that I can proceed with my work.
Sometimes when I close OUTLOOK, there is a crash error window that comes up ... with two buttons to click: 1 = CLOSE, 2 = DETAILS.
It doesn't happen all the time, but more frequently than not. I would like suggestion on how to search for the cause of this matter, and then, fix it!

From what you have sent for system specs, I would be confident in saying that Outlook is the problem. What you need to do is go to :
http://support.microsoft.com and find "updates". In here, you will find all sorts of Windows Updates, and Office Apps Updates and Patches. Look for an Outlook, or Office patch for your version of Office Apps, or Outlook. This should help immensly.
