Description:
Quicken version 7 release R1
Trying to run the Debt Planning program. When I get to "My Debt Level" and it starts calculating it goes about two thirds of the way and the computer freezes.
I have increased the memory requirement to 7000.
Ran Norton Disk Doctor (Everything OK)
Removed the preferance files. No inprovement so replaced the perferance file.
Reconstructed the indexfile.
Please help???. Thanks Dave.

Thanks for giving us here at No Wonder the opportunity to answer your
question. I am Nevin of the No Wonder Mac Staff.
Welp, Rebuild the desktop, zap the pram, trash the quicken application and
reinstall it. Run Disc First Aid verify the hard drive and repair it if
necessary then if feasable upgrade to quicken 98. Set your ram cache at 1024k
and let me know how you do. I think reinstalling the software will fix your
problem. Do a search in find file for quicken and throw away all files
associated with Quicken (BUT NOT THE FILES YOU CREATED) Try these and get back
to me...

Don't forget to rebuild your desktop and zap your pram regularly!
Pram------Command-option-r-p for four (4) start up chimes at start up and release.
Desktop---command-option during start up, click ok.
