DESCRIPTION:

I am now using Windows 98 and there are a few differences that I would like to change. When you click on Start|Programs, my listing is long and spills over the bottom of the screen. There are little arrows at the top and bottom to use for scrolling.

Is there some way to get Windows to list the programs horizontally rather than vertically?? This is what I am used to from Win95 and I find it preferable to be able to look across to see all (or most) my programs in a single screen.

Thanx. Ben Okner

Hello Ben, and welcome to NoWonder!!

I usually don't answer Win98 questions, Ben, because I haven't used it too much yet. One thing to try to remedy your problem is to right-click on the task bar, and choose "tile horizontally". This might just do the trick for you.

If you have any further questions reguarding this matter, feel free to
E-mail me with them.

Thank you for using NoWonder!! Tell a friend about us!!!
