Description:
Here's what happens when
trying to boot this IBM
ps/2 8580(it's like 10 years
old)

1.the first thing is the
memory count, it goes
ok.
3968 KB OK

2.then it shows

301

3.then it shows

162

4.then it shows

163

5.then it makes two beeps,
and stops.

The screen looks like this:

Hi Steve!

Wow! I didn't think anyone else (besides me) had one of those...
That error is related to hardware, one of your cards or devices is not "seated" properly or connected completely.
Make sure that the machine is unplugged, and open that big boy up and check the cards and connectors and be sure they are all firmly seated into the motherboard etc. Then try again.
