Hi,

'cwk', is that Claris Works? If they are text documents you might try opening them with AppleWorks or just a text editor, such as TextEdit that comes with Tiger. Also Adobe Acrobat Reader or maybe at a pinch Preview might do the trick. I just Googled 'cwk' and found this which might help:

Try a few of these apps and if any of them work then pop back and ask about designating that app to open all of your .cwk files in the future. Its quite simple but takes a little explaining.

I've never transfered music from MiniDisc to a Mac but I would imagine that depending on the inputs your iMac has (which model?) you can either use a direct digital connection between the MD and Mac or simply use the line-in of the Mac and use something like QT Pro or Audio Hijack to do the recording. Google either of those and you'll find what you need. Both apps require carry a nominal charge but Audio Hijack is certainly worth double what the developer demands for a license, I couldn't use a Mac without it.

All the best
Ben
