TICKET ARCHIVE -> QT & hd repair

Description:
1. Installed QT 3.0 on hard drive. When I tried to open a
QT movie from hd it would not play it and gave me a message that ended with "unexpected problem has occurred (-2048). Anything I can do to correct this?

2. When I ran the OS8 disk repair from CD-ROM it found two problems: a) volume bit map needs minor repair, 0.0 and b) master directory block needs minor repair, 1,0.

What can I do to repair these? The OS8 CD wouldn't let me repair the problems from it.

Hi Gary, welcome to Nowonder, I'm robertw.
You will have to use an earlier version of QuickTime to play the movie.

As for the disk repair problems, you will have to run a utility program to correct the problems.
Norton"s is a good one to have.
