TICKET ARCHIVE -> Quark & Fonts

I'm working with Extensis Suitcase 11.0.2 for font management.

All applications work well with it EXCEPT for Quark. Quark keeps dropping the fonts. I can open a file in Photoshop and it sees the fonts, I can open a file in Word (for crissakes!) and it sees the fonts. I open a file in Quark and the fonts are missing.

I quit Quark, still doesn't see the fonts. So obviously my problem lies with Quark. Last night I worked in Quark with these fonts without a problem. Today is another story.

Your email address acts funky on my system. I can see them all, but I can't access them or the address. I'm rebooting.

Okay, after doing ALL that stuff. We decided to install Extensis Suitcase. All of my problems were resolved including Quark at that moment.

I worked with it all day yesterday and it behaved. Today it's not seeing the fonts -- the same ones that I had loaded yesterday. Same set. Photoshop sees them, Word sees them, but NOT Quark.

Loading a font should be the EASIEST thing you should be able to do in a page layout program. I don't get it.
