Description:
Q 7 funnies:

1) I can't seem to rename my Q back-up file when shutting down Q7.

2) In my Preferences: There is a date I wish to change.Under "Password", the date before which I need to enter a password to canange a transaction. I enter the new date in the box, but the change doesn't occur. ( Qu 7R6 )

You can probably solve the problem by deleting your preference file for Quicken, as long as you can stand losing all the preferences you already have. What I suggest is to open your preferences, and take all of them down on paper. A more efficient way to record your data would be more complicated. Go into your preferences and a take a screen shot of all the data in there. You can do this by holding down the following keys at the same time: shift apple 3
