In older versions of Quicken you could have scheduled transactions prompt you before entering into the register. This feature was independent of BillMinder and reminders. It appears the even if you select "Prompt before entering" on a scheduled transaction, Quicken 99 just prompts you if you use BillMinder or Reminders.
Is there a way to have Quicken 99 prompt to enter the transaction in the register independent of BillMinder and reminders?

From the help screen on Windows 99 Quicken I received the following:
To show Reminders each time you start Quicken:
Choose Options from the Reminders button bar, then choose Reminders > Show Reminders when starting Quicken.
To change Reminder and Billminder options:
1 Choose Options from the Reminders button bar. Then choose Reminder or Billminder as desired:
To see upcoming events in any other Quicken files you might have, such as separate files for a business or a spouse, click Reminders > Show Reminders from Other Files.
To find out the number of days in advance that you would like to know of upcoming bills in Reminders and Billminder, select Reminders > Days Shown and enter the information in the Days Shown window under Days in Advance.
To select which calendar notes you want listed in Reminders and Billminder, select Reminders > Days Shown and enter the information in the Days Shown window under Show notes for.
To see a list of your upcoming Quicken events each time you start Windows, select Billminder > Show Billminder when starting Windows. What Billminder displays is governed by other options available under Billminder.
