Hello,

I have a Quicksilver G4 and recently erased my hard drive to prepare it for resale. After I reinstalled OSX, I accidentally left the restore/install disk in the drive. When I turned it back on, it brought me to the install screen again, but now my hard drive isn't mounted at all (neither in the disk utility nor the install process). I've already tried a safe boot, resetting the pram, and the fsck thing, but nothin seems to be making a difference. This is what happens when I booot up, before I get to the install screen:
I get the blinking smile/foler thing for a second or 2, then the gray screen witht he apple and spinning "gear" for a minute or 2 before the install/restore interface appears.
So now I'm stuck! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Kerri

You trying to eject the CD? Or the install did not go well? You can also hold down the eject button, or f12 on keyboard during boot to eject the CD.
