Hi Rizwan,

I would go to www.apple.com/quicktime and download the latest QuickTime Player. What version of Mac OS do you have? If you go to the Apple Menu and then click "About this Mac" (first one down) you can see which version you are running. If it is either Mac OS 10.3.9 or 10.4.1 and higher you can go ahead and download it. If its either Mac OS 10.2.x , 10.1.x, or 9.x then the version you have is fine and there is a different problem.
Thanks & Regards,

Ferdinand

Hello Ferdinand,

I'm running on MacOSX 10.3.9 - and still on 6.5 Quicktime. Do I need to pay for some sort of code for the 7.0 version?

No, you can just download it for free at:

http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/mac.html

Hope this helps,

Ferdinand
