QuickTime doesn't work. It just shows a lightened QuickTime logo with a question mark over it. I use 400 MHz PowerPC G3.

Hi, Thomas,

Did you recently upgrade your Quicktime player?

The first thing to try is to delete the Preferences for Quicktime. To do this, go to the Library folder in your home user folder. (There are two Library folders. If you aren't sure which one to go to, from the Finder menu, select Go-Home.) Then open the Library folder. Go to the Preferences folder and find the file called

com.apple.quicktime.plugin.preferences.plist

Delete this file, log out, then log back in.

This should fix the problem. If it doesn't please let me know and we'll keep trying.
