HI there,
I just purchased a RAdoen 9800 Pro for my G4 (1ghz dual with 1.5gb ram) I recognised, that when using the dashboard or other core image related things the screen flickers. However, also when I want to select text in Safari, things suddenly stat movinf around. (Looks like abstact expressionim with type.)
I already ran software update and I downloaded the most recent driver from the ati website? What else can I do?
Thanks already, Dominik

I think I explained this wrong...: I am not having problems with a flickering screen, but with really bad artifacts... Especially with games...

Reseat your video card, making sure the contacts on the card (and in the slot on your motherboard) are clean. If needed, use a can of pressurized air to blow out dust, etc. from the slot in the motherboard. After reseating the card, if you still are having artifacts, it's time to look for a new video card.

HTH and please let us know what happens. Thanks.
