Hi,
I really like your site and would appreciate your assistance regarding the following:
I have a G4 PowerBooks Mac running OS X, and have connected it to my kids XP running PC via speed touch router.
The thing is I'm really worried about my kids activities on the Internet, I'm sure you know what I mean. My home network is fine and I can even enter my kid's PC and watch some folders that I allowed for sharing, such as the Internet history folders.
However I really want to monitor their display from my Mac without them knowing.
I have recently tried the Remote Desktop Connection (RDN) from MS site
http://www.microsoft.com/mac/otherpr...edesktopclient it works fine and I can actually view and use my kids XP on my Mac. However, when I log to my kids PC their display gets locked, and when they log in, I lose connection. In other words only when of us can view the XP display.
Could you please tell me how can I monitor my kids XP display via RDN when their on the net, without them knowing, form my OS X Mac?
Thnk you for your helpful response.
I tried you solution However it works if you want to monitor a MAC from a PC. What I'm looking for is monitoring a PC from a Mac.
I would appritiate your reply.

This works either way, from a Mac to a PC or PC to a Mac.
Try using Chicken of the VNC on the Mac;

You should be able to connect to a PC. Monitor or Control.

Thanks a lot, your solution worked fine. I installed the Chicken of the VNC on my MAC and UltraVNC Server on my kids PC. I monitor all their activities now.
However, the only down side of the UltraVNC Server is their is an obvious icon the system tray which my kids notice, it actually changes color when I monitor them, and sometimes they close the programme. I have recently made it hidden but I'm trying a way to make it completely invisible.
Thanks for your response, it was very fast and to the point. I'm really impressed with your site and the way you handled my problem
Thanks again
