Now all I get, even on utube is a Q with a ?, no content. What can I do?
BH
Probably a problem with one of the QuickTime Internet plugins. There should be two in Macintosh HD/Library/Internet Plug-Ins: QuickTime Plugin.plugin and QuickTime Plugin.webplugin. If one or both are there, trash it/them, and then
download and reinstall QuickTime.
Does it still not work after restarting?

I did what you recommended without success, but then I redownloaded Flash Player & it worked. The only problem is that I have to reinstall Flash every time I restart the computer. Ever heard of that?

I don't know what the connection would be between Flash and QuickTime; QT isn't set to play Flash content by default, though the option is there. But you're now the second active ticket I'm handling right now with a Flash fails on restart issue. I'm tempted to recommend manually downloading and reinstalling the latest
combo update. Otherwise, I don't know what to suggest and will reopen your question for another tech to address.
Today it seems to be working without downloading update!??? So no response needed at this time. Thanx for your help.
