Hello!
When installing Tiger I chose the "upgrade" option and I'm thinking that I might get improved performance on my powerbook if I reinstalled Tiger but used the "Erase and install" option.
Can I do that - and if so, is there some "smart" way to back up data/apps etc. so that I can get my old stuff back (I have an external hard drive)?
Thanks,
dan
Hi Dan
Yes, you can do that.
You can backup anything you need to the external drive.
You can use SuperDuper to clone your internal drive to the external drive, then just copy back what you want.
