I was wondering how can I use Apple's Remote Desktop over the internet. Obiously I can use it because its' behind a router. How can I make it work?

That depends very much upon your router and how your internal network has been set up. But basically, you'll have to map a combination of internal ip-numbers and port-numbers to the external ip-number and ports.

If Remote Desktop is particularly restrictive regarding port numbers, you'll have to set up a proxy server on the private side of your network.
