I have a windows computer running XP Pro and I use Windows remote desktop to talk to it from my MAC.
I have another computer running XP Home. Since it doesn't have support for Remote Desktop, is there another way to do the same or similar thing to this computer? Is there software that I can buy that lets my MAC control this PC?
Thanks,
Sheldon

Jim,
Thanks for your answer. Actually, I would prefer to access the other computer locally if possible. Both computers are on the same network and, rather than going out to the internet and back, I was looking for a solution like Windows Remote Desktop, which is pier-2-pier over a LAN.
Do you know of anything like that?
Thanks,
Sheldon

Sheldon,
That would be VNC your looking for, it is a locally installed client and does not go out to the internet and is strictly client 2 client.

Jim,
I am afraid I didn't look carefully enough the first time. I read about being able to manage computers remotely and thought it was one of those sites like gotomypc.com. I see now that I was wrong.
Thanks for the tip. I will give VNC a try.
