I am using an iMac G5 with OSX 10.4.1 and using Remote Desktop and a VPN connection to a windows XP laptop at my work environment. I am experiencing RDC freezing after a timeframe of 4 - 25 minutes. I cannot find a fix for this problem. Any ideas?

my first idea is that there is a lot of network traffic, or 2nd that your laptop is going to sleep and shutting down it's net connection.

Thanks for the thoughts but I am sure it is not network traffic and the laptop is setup not to go to sleep. This problem is happening for a work colleague using the same environment as I but not for another colleague who uses RDC from an XP home computer. It seems to be isolated to a MAC OSX issue.

ok, i will look further into it, but it may be a glitch in the RDC software.

in fact, which version of Microsoft RDC are you running?
richardg63 - Jul 13, 2005 - 5:58 pm
Rdc version 1.0.3 (040913)
