I was foolish enough to even install virtual pc. I've removed it but it seems to have messed with the OS. I now under network settings have a PCI slot listed there but since I have a 12" powerbook there is obviously no PCI slot. This used to not appear. Also now, Safari can no longer connect to the internet. Its been like this for a while, so I just have been using firefox (which has no problem) but I've decided I want to solve this problem. Would a program like appzapper remove undeleted remenants of virtual pc and solve this problem?

thanks very much

Wanted to add some follow up info,

the network menu lists:
PCI Ethernet Slot 2 - this is how I'm currently connected to the internet via wifi to a cable modem. IP is 192.168.0.100

Airport has a yellow light and says that it is connected to the internet with a self assigned ip address and may not be able to connect to the internet.

red lights are
internal modem, bluetooth modem port and bluetooth pda port. I don't think I ever saw those ports either before virtual pc. I don't want virtual pc I don't need it.

thanks
