Good morning, Sharon --

Unfortunately, the new OS deletes all of the thngs that it does not support. That is why it is so important to "back up" your hard disc regularly or at least the key elelments of it.

I am not certain, but I think Apple Fax is no longer supported by the new Mac OS since all of the Modems manufacturers now supply their own fax software. What make and model of modem do you have? Did it come with software for faxes?

To learn whether or not Apple OS still supports faxing with its OS is a question I think only Apple Tech Support an answer.
