TICKET ARCHIVE -> Retrieving Deleted File

I'm new to MAC and not our server administrator - who works out of town. A file was accidentally deleted from the server. Last backup was 8-29-05.
I want to retrieve just the file that was deleted -
not the entire backup. Can you direct me in the
process? I've gotten half way there - using Retrospect - as directed by the administrator - but
can't figure out how to get just the one file I need.

You need to open a browser window in Retrospect on the backup archive. Unselect all the files, then use the browser to locate the one file you need to replace, select it (checkmark it), then restore it.
