Description:
I am using System 8.5 (BTW, your choices above need to be updated) with the latest version of Retrospect Express, the back-up utility.

I have had some problems and want to create a new backup. The program defaults to the archive I started before, and the instructions/help don't seem to provide an alternative. I don't want to presume that throwing out my backup set will solve the problem... any ideas?

Dear David:
I believe what you want to do is create a new StorageSet.

From the Retrospect Express Directory window (Immediate tab), choose Backup button.

From Immediate Backup window click on the ToStorageSet.

From the StorageSet Selection you can create a new StorageSet. Make your choices and you will have a new Storage Set created. Now you can go ahead and select the files that you want backed up and the desired options.

I hope this addresses your question.

Sincerely,
Mitch
