Deja Vu (not De Ja Vous) installs itself as a preference pane and is very easy to use. Help is built-in to the program. I would not recommend installing the version that comes with Toast. Download the current version at www.versiontracker.com.

If you plan to backup your hard drive to CDs or DVDs you will probably need to use multiple disks to store all the files. Deja Vu does not support multi-disk backups. It is best used to backup to hard drives, tapes, external hard drives, or network drivers or where the backup will not require more than one CD or DVD.

The best backup program for multi-disk backups is Retrospect.
