Hi,
Lately, I have a problem with Safari and suddenly getting the spinning rainbow. I often find myself having to force quit the program after watching this spinning for 2+ minutes.
Do you know what is going on? I cant seem to find a common reason.

It would be useful to know what hardware and version of OS X you are running.
I have been experiencing the same problem, with my 15"Powerbook (PPC NOT Intel). We have also no idea what is causing this and end up having to unplug the mains lead and take out the battery as it is often impossible to even Force quit and the whole machine ends up crashing.
Sorry this isn't much help, but at least we might be able to see if there is a pattern and if others are having the same problems
Our version of Tiger is: 10.4.6 and Safari is the latest version.
