TICKET ARCHIVE -> Safari History Has Disappeared On Its Own

Sometime yesterday, all the history for safari websites I visited somehow disappeared. My s.o. had been using the computer later on and discovered there was no history, now he is upset and thinking I am hiding something. Is there any way the history could just disappear like that? I am 99% sure I did not do it accidentally and know I did not clear the history on purpose. I have a newer laptop, I believe it is a G4 powerbook running with an account for him and an account for me on it.
Thank you in advance for your suggestions or ideas. I am fairly technically savvy and can go into system settings to help figure out what happened.

Hi Chris

These are the only way you can clear the History;

1-Use Safari Reset in the Safari Menu
2-Use the Clear command in the History Menu
3-Delete the History file from - user>library>safari
4-Use a program like Cocktail, Yasu, etc, to clear.

Wow...thank you so much for the speedy reply!
I guess I could have done it by accident and not even realized it. Thanks again!
Aloha!
