I currently have no working browser (IE, Firefox) on my Mac, so clicking on a link in my email brings up Safari. It *looks* like it's opening a page, but then I can't seem to navigate anywhere from that point. How do I get it to GO anywhere?

Also where do I do settings to tell my Mac which browser to use as my standard browser?

Thanks.
Marie

Do you mean Safari doesn't display the site referred to by the URL in email? Or are you asking how to navigate or surf with Safari?

To set the default browser simply launch Safari, then open Safari Preferences from the Safari menu. Click on the "General" icon in the toolbar. In the dialog you will see at the top "Default Web Browser" and a drop down menu. Select the desired browser from the drop down menu.

When you reply please tell us what specific Mac model you have, amount of installed RAM, size of hard drive and free space on the hard drive, any attached peripherals, and version of OS X running. If Safari is not working properly (pages aren't being displayed) please provide any error messages received (and which app generated the message) and any additional descriptive information that may help troubleshoot the problem.
