Safari is a Mac OS X-only browser. Always has been. It was first released only a few years ago. I believe your browser choices under OS 9 are: Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, iCab, and Mozilla. Search the Mac OS 9 sections of MacUpdate.com and VersionTracker.com for and you'll find them among the results.
