I have just updated to Tiger and ran all the online updates but have a problem. When I try to print anything to a PDF file the buttons do not do anything!

Can someone help me??

Have tried restarting the system several times and even found one reference to deleting a "zerxaccount.." file from the /library/printers/.... but such a file did not exist on my system (even did a spotlight search).

Where do I need to tickle the system?

Often the thing that fixes things is to repair permissions. I prefer to use Cocktail (available at versiontracker.com). Use the "pilot" feature and run all of the cron tasks, etc...

Greetings Matt,

Would love to report good news but unfortunately Cocktail did not fix the problem. Additionally as I was trying to print to a PDF file - did not notice till today that I can't even print anything to the normal printer (via airport express).

When I tried to print to my regular printer - Word shut down.

What should I try next?
