I've been using Mac the Ripper and successfully getting files to burn using Roxio Popcorn. However some DVD Discs when using Mac the Ripper display a message at the end of saving the file says "BAD SECTORS". Popcorn won't even let me try to burn with a TS Folder with bad sectors. Can you tell me hot to get the "BAD SECTORS" out of there so I can burn it? I'm wondering if it might have to do with the RPC code, and enabling only certain ones? Normally I have all 8 selected. I'm sure each disc is different, please help me out. Thanks, Josh.

What version of Roxio are you using? I used to get similar problems, but I upgraded to Roxio Popcorn 1.0.2, and I no longer get that problem, even if the disk contains bad sectors.
Thanks,

Thanks for writing me Paul, I'm using Roxio Popcorn 1.0.3. and the latest Mac the Ripper. Both programs are working fine on the desktop computer, the problem is extracting using mac the ripper on the Power Book. Is it possible I have a 'picky' Super Drive? I tried burning the TS folder even with the Bad Sectors using Popcorn, when it rejects it, the propt says it cannot handle the contents of the TS folder. Not that I want a corrupt disk, just seeing if it worked.

I haven't tried burning disks that contain bad sectors on Popcorn 1.0.3. So this problem is only happening on your laptop computer?
Thanks,
Paul Fletcher
