Description:
What is mean by no "Bidirectional Printing" in relation to printer and scanner(HP type). Also is it relatively easy and accurate to transfer a Quicken portfolio data file from Mac to a PC?

Question #1: That means that the document or item you scanned cannot be changed to print the other direction. When you go to page setup you have the choice of changing the oreintation of width wise or long wise. Anything from your scanner cannot be changed. Hence, no bidirectional, or changing the direction of printing on the page.

Question #2: I am not sure. But if you save the data on a disk formatted for a PC, I would think you could. First check to see if Quicken on your Mac has a Save As format. It might just as some wordprocessors do. If not, you might need to invest in a conversion program such as MacLinkPlus.
