Description:
I have an Apple color 1 scanner 1200/30. I want to be able to send pictures through my e-mail. I have done this as attachments and no one I sent them to could open them. I sent one to myself and it opened with teach/text. When I get pictures from my friends the automatically load with the e-mail. I do not need to click on anything to get them. I am using Netscape 3.0. Thank you.

Send Attachments? Yes

Jane:

Are you sending the files in .GIF or .JPEG formats?

Are you sending them as MacBinary files?

In order for you to view their pictures, you have to go to HELPER Applications or Applications and add a viewer application such as GraphicConverter or GifConverter so that when you receive pics, they will automatically open using the Viewer Program that you set up in Applications.

You can download GraphicConverter or GifConverter from: AOL, www.filemine.com, www.download.com. My preference is GraphicConverter.

Let me know how it goes...
