Is is possible to schedule when emails are sent with an MAC email software -
Currently I use Entourage:mac 2004 - but could use any program -
The only "scheduler" I can find is for MS Outlook - from MAPILab Ltd. (
http://www.mapilab.com/outlook/toolb...scheduler.html) - but this requires a Windows OS - and I need one that works with MAC OS -
Thanks in advance for any assistance -

Not sure what scheduling setup you're looking for, but you might be in search of the Schedule Delivery script from the
Mail Scripts package.

After looking at the Mail Scripts web site - "Schedule Delivery" may do it - but to make my objective clearer ...
I want to be able to create emails well in advance - and then have them sent on a particular schedule - For example ...
Message 1 - goes automatically on Feb 1st
then
Message 2 - goes automatically on Feb 5th
and so on ...
Is this clearer and do you thing "Schedule Delivery" will enable up to do this task ?

As you read, the Schedule Delivery script uses iCal to schedule the send operation for individual messages. This assumes that the messages are already drafted and will each be sent at the designated time. iCal scheduling works fine. Perhaps you can be even more specific behaviorally on what order of operations you intend.

Yes - the emails will be written and ready to go - Now all I have to do is talk with my IT department to see if I can use Entourage:mac and iMail with the same email address - or whether I need to get a separate email address just for these automatic messages -
Thanks - you have been a great help -

Seems to me the logical choice for speed and convenience would be to create your email account in Mail and import your mailboxes from Entourage. Then, you would use Mail full time and eliminate one more slow Microsoft product from your daily arsenal.

I was told that if I use iMail - then I cannot sink with my blackberry - even though they are both being fed from the institutions Outlook server - Is this true - or more likely - are they just ignorant ?

Mail (not "iMail") accesses your Exchange Server via Outlook Web Access whereas Entourage might be able to make a more direct link. However, as far as I know, Outlook syncs content with the server, so I don't know why this would be. Perhaps another tech is more familiar with the Exchange exchange. In the meantime, you might also want to look at MarkSpace
The Missing Sync for BlackBerry.
