Description:
Sirs,
This is the second time I written about what is un-common hardware. The first time was Tracking #119246.
I'm installing a SUMO-AT SCSI controller wt Seagate HDD, on a 50-pin cable. My only SCSI components. It tested positive to sequential and random reads with real-mode drivers using ZFMT installation software until I tried FORMAT. Then it quit after distroying boot sectors.
Are SCSI Cable Terminators essential to proper installation?
Thanks again for any help.

SCSI terminators are always essential for any SCSI chain that is
not auto-terminating.
