Hi my name is peter, my mac book is 10.5.4 I tried to view TV online, which requires window media player. I also downloaded window media player9 for MAC OSX. but everytime I view the TV online it always uses quicktime player as default media player, which is not working. the only media player that works for TV is window media player, would you please tell me how to set window media player as the media player for internet.

Thank you

Windows Media Player for the Mac has not been developed or updated for more than 5 years. You should have downloaded the Flip4Mac software, which is at the same download page:
http://www.microsoft.com/mac/products/flip4mac.mspx

Flip4Mac provides plug-ins for your QuickTime player, which is why that comes up.

The support link at your TV site might give you some more information about alternate video players, but the Flip4Mac software will usually work OK. Keep in mind that it uses the QuickTime player for the default, and that's quite normal.
