Hi there,
I have an old g4 quicksilver standning around and I though that I could use it too speed up my rendering times in Final Cut Pro a bit, when working on my other mac.
Can anyone walk me though the process of setting this up? Both computers are connected to a router via airport, both are running the entire FC Suite. However, one is intel-based, while the other is powerpc based...

Thanks, dl33

Hello,

My first question is this. I see your profile for your Intel based Mac but what I need more informaiton on is the G4. Speed/RAM etc...

The g4 is a quicksilver 2002 D1GHz with 1.5GB Ram and a main 320GB HD. There is a Radeon 9800 Pro inside it...
(Both macs are running Tiger with all updates)
