I recently installed Punch software Home Design Studio.

Today I went to Open Quicken 2007 and received the following error.
Quicken 2007 could not be launched because of a shared library error:")<>"

Any ideas of how to proceed?

Thanks

Nina,

Can you associate the install of Punch software w/ the Quicken Error message? I would recommend re-installing Quicken 2007 to resolve this error, and then see if your Punch software works still. If not, we can deal with it at that point.

Thanks Scott for replying. Yes I have tried to reinstall Quicken. Here is the error message I get. Quicken 2007 could not be installed because of a shared library error:"<>

All this started happening after installing the Punch Software. I have tried uninstalling Punch, starting the machine in safe mode and then trying to install, I have run verify permissions, but nothing has been successful. And now when I try to print something from within Firefox, firefox quits and I can't print anything.

Any ideas of something else I can try would be greatly appreciated. Intuit has not been much help in troubleshooting this with me.

Thank you

Also I keep trying to give you the complete error message but it doesn't show up here the way I type it. Let me try again without the punctuation marks and see if that works.

If reinstalling quicken didn't work, you might try re-installing the OS X w/ the latest "Combo Updater" available on Apple's Support site. What OS version are you using now?

Reinstalling the system software did the trick. Thanks for your help and suggestions.
