Hi! i'm having trouble with sherlock 3. keep getting a (loading null) & can't see any channels. i've tried reinstalling mac 10.4.2, but does'nt seem to help.

Some channels appear to no longer work in Tiger. The functions have generally been replaced by Dashboard widgets.

This is only a recent issue , i'd say about 3 weeks. worked fine in 10.4 & up until recently 10.4.2. could it be a bug?

Maybe, but Sherlock is just not a great worker with Tiger. I have been having periodic problems since installing Tiger in early May, mostly that some channels are not available.
You could try deleting the Sherlock pref file.
Just curious - what do you need in Sherlock, that is not covered now by a Dashboard widget?

Nothing really, except the kids were just used to accessing information from sherlock for homework. Just type in what you need and it seemed to take you to the best web site without having to scroll to the specific widget you need.
