Hi,
I recently bought a MacPro and I've been using the Sherlock to find movies but since couple of days it's not working anymore. I tried changing the zip code but nothing comes. Under the movie/theater channel it's just blank. The stock channel seems to be blank also.

I am new to Mac so if I could get some help to get this thing to work it would be helpful.

Thank you

Fahad,

Go to youruserfolder/Library/Caches/Sherlock/Web Foundations and toss the contents of the Web Foundations folder. Now click on that folder, press Command-I to bring up the Info window, and enable the Locked option.

This usually solves the problem, I found out about this fix at Macworld.com.

Fahad,

Did you lock the folder after you deleted the contents? If you did and it still doesn't work I will reopen this ticket for someone else.

By the way I think the reason Sherlock has problems is that Apple will probably do away with it in the next version of the OS X since Dashboard pretty much does the same thing. You can download a Movie Widget from Apples website.
