Knowledge Level: I'm New!

Problem: Software
Computer Type: apple
Model: 7200/90
RAM: 65+
RAM Enhancer: Ram Doubler 2.x
OS Version: Not Listed

Description:
Happy Holidays
I just tried to use the Sherlock internet search feature on my Mac 8.5.1 and it said that it could not find the app Sherlock or that my network setting were incorrect. I tossed the Internet Search sites folder, downloaded and reinstalled 8.5.1, restarted and still got the same messages regarding not finding the app Sherlock and network settings. Went to both Apple and Netscape but could not find anything relating. (Also could not use Sherlock to do an internet search because of catch 22 situation!
I also have another problem with Netscape: when I attempt to print out something from the internet (like my bank statement) it comes out the size of a postage stamp on my Epson Stylus Photo printer. It has never done this before with any previous versions of Netscape or with other printers. I do not have this problem with my AOL account on same computer. Thanks
Gordon

Hi Merry Christmas and welcome to Nowonder

The following is the fixer for the Epson Printer found at the macfixit site.

Tim Ehlenbeck writes: "This can be fixed by choosing 'Page Setup' in
Navigator, and disabling 'Fit to page if possible' in the ensuing Epson
dialog box. If this box is unchecked, the page will print at 'normal'
size, with a soft text wrap." (Thanks also Stephen Rausch and David Sharpe.)

I am looking up the sherlock problem and will get back to you with hopefully an answer on that. Best regards sharon@nowonder
