Description:
Suddenly, when I try to use the Sherlock search internet feature, I get an error dialog that says "A network error occured. Check your network settings, then try again."

I use ISDN, and am connecting to the web and email just fine. I've trashed prefs, and done a clean system reinstallation. I checked Sherlock before I added back in my 3rd party extensions, the problem is still there.

What next?

You might have a bad sherlock plug-in. Try disabling all of them except one and see what happens. A search engine might have changed its format and fudged up the whole sherlock search feature.

If it works, turn on one at a time and see which one is messed up.

I hope this helps,
Jason
